Betty Roberge was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1953, however many of her formative years were spent in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Having lived between San Juan, Buffalo, New York and Andover, Massachusetts, her family settled back in San Juan where she met her husband while he was serving in the US Navy. She later found herself moving to Wisconsin, his home state.  After raising four children, in 2003 Betty became a member of ABATE of Wisconsin, a motorcycle rights, education and safety organization and has been both an active member and a past state officer of the organization.  She now resides in Holmen, Wisconsin along the Mississippi River on the western edge of the state.  She rides a 2004 Yamaha 1100 V Star Classic.
